Pediatrics

We provide a wide range of routine services for children from birth through age 12. In addition to routine services, the clinic offers nurse and technician appointments for the following concerns: weight check; sore throat for ages 3 and older; re-freezing of warts; and suture and staple removal.

Pediatric Newborn Patients

• Due to our new electronic medical record, MHS GENESIS, parents must have their newborn child registered in DEERS before booking an appointment.
• Once registered with DEERS, visit the TRICARE Operations & Patient Administration (TOPA) office (located on the second floor of the medical group) to have electronic health record created.
• When all above has been completed, parents call the Central Appointment Line at (575) 572-2778 to be transferred to our Pediatric Clinic front desk to book your child’s first appointment.
• Parents be sure to bring all the paperwork from the hospital, to include child’s birth certificate, etc.
