Allergy and Immunizations
We provide allergy shots and allergy skin testing by referral only to active duty, dependents and retirees with asthma or environmental allergies (i.e. trees, grasses, etc.). Please meet with your primary care manager to determine if you are a candidate for allergy services. If you qualify for allergy services, your primary care manager will put in a referral for you to meet with the allergy specialist. Immunizations clinic is open to all eligible beneficiaries. If you are new to Holloman or have not received vaccines at an Air Force military treatment facility, please provide your shot record to update our database. If records are not provided, you will not be able to receive vaccines. Tuberculosis, TB or PPD, vaccine is administered Monday through Wednesday, and Friday, and will not be administered Monday or Friday in conjunction with a long weekend. You will be required to return to the clinic within 48 to 72 hours to have your results read. Otherwise your test is invalid. For the smallpox vaccine, which is required for certain foreign travel, TDY, deployments, please report to Public Health in Building 17 prior to coming to the Immunization Clinic. This vaccine is given on Wednesday only, at 7:45 a.m., after proper clearance from a provider.
