Family Health

We provide comprehensive primary care for all non-flying active duty personnel, family members, retirees and their families, ages 13 and older. We strive to maintain a high level of continuity of care, impressive access to care for our patients, effective communication with our patients, consistently positive customer satisfaction ratings and an aggressive disease prevention program. Additionally, we will enroll our active duty by Squadron/Unit on our active duty only team. Non-active duty personnel are seen on our non-active duty team. There are no emergency and inpatient services at the 49 MDG. In addition to routine primary care services, the clinic does do the following minor procedures in house: wart and mole removal; skin tag removals; toenail removals; and IUD insertions and removals. More invasive procedures include vasectomies and pap smears. In addition to routine visits, there are nurses and technicians scheduled appointments for sore throat, blood pressure screening, pregnancy test, shots and injections, including B12, testosterone and Depo, urinary tract infection, wart refreeze, suture and staple removal, and wound checks.
