49th MDG trains Airmen with Medic-X initiative

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. — You may have heard of multi-capable Airmen working on the flight line and in aircraft hangars, here at the 49th Medical Group they’re training multi-capable medics to work in the clinic. Medic-X is a program implemented in the 49th MDG last year designed to train Airmen from different medical careers to provide life-saving measures in emergency situations and relief in daily operations.

Holloman’s PFAC provides feedback to the 49th MDG

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. — The PFAC program was established in the U.S. Air Force in 2017. Holloman’s PFAC is composed of 17 members including retirees, active duty personnel and dependents. Each month the PFAC meets with 49th MDG leaders to discuss direct feedback received from patrons and search for ways to improve clinic operations and processes.
